Each piece from this collection contains sand from Prince Edward Island. Sand is likened to time because it slips away quickly and is constantly shifting. Trees are whispers of wisdom, as they hold stories of the past in their roots. Years pass whether we will them or not, so let them flow through you, like a handful of sand slipping through your fingers, and like a strongly rooted and mature sapling, let us sit in the wisdom of serenity, remembering to cherish the memories made.

10% of all proceeds from this collection will go to the Island Nature Trust’s stewardship fund called “Mend A Patch”. May these artworks serve as reminders of the precious grounds we walk upon, the beauty that surrounds us all, and the responsibility we all have to care for it, for generations to come, and to honour those who came before us.
